There is outdoor seating and the food is brought out to you. The cashier was really nice and helpful too. I would come back and eat here and recommend others as well.

After being rejected by several establishments on the block for not having a reservation and five people for dinner on a Saturday night, Calexico was nice enoug... read more After being rejected by several establishments on the block for not having a reservation and five people for dinner on a Saturday night, Calexico was nice enough to give us a table. The server was friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. The drinks came out pretty fast a mix of margaritas (frozen and on the rocks), mixed drinks and soft drinks… The nachos were plenty big and tasty no one went hungry waiting for the mains to come out of the kitchen. I ordered the steak fajitas not exactly cooked to temp which left the meat dry and the lack of cheese didn’t help the dish’s case. You might be better off ordering something else. Folks seemed to enjoy the tacos they ordered. If I ever go back I’ll go with the quesadillas… but I doubt I’ll be back. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

We... read more We had the fried chicken burrito, shrimp taco, barbacoa taco and the salsa and nachos. The food was flavored to perfection and the portion sizes were great. We also tried the churros for dessert and they were equally as amazing. Not too sweet and went perfectly with the Nutella dip.
