Description

Nestled in Brooklyn, this compact Thai spot serves authentic, adventurous dishes with generous portions and standout items like Khao Kook Kapi, duck basil, and crispy red snapper. A massive appetizer platter and value-packed lunch specials make it ideal for groups and midday diners; service is friendly and parking is easy. Expect bold, spicy flavors but uneven execution—some curries, desserts and soups disappoint—and reports of flies and occasional kitchen shortcuts temper the overall charm. Great for trying unique Thai specialties if you can forgive inconsistency.

We have gotten takeout from Boran for years and always loved it, and of course in person is just that much better. I think we've never gotten the same thing twice and still everything is incredible. I appreciate the butterfly iced tea as a non -alcoholic accompaniment to the meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

Not bad, not amazing. Chef seems a bit lazy. The tom kha was a can of coconut milk with tough chicken. The main wasn’t bad. Sweet chilli sauce straight out the bottle. Wouldn’t come back. Like most Thai places in nyc dead average.

We order from here regularly in my opinion, this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Brooklyn! Both traditional Thai and more Americanized dishes are always freshly made and delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Great delicious authentic Thai food. We enjoyed our first time here. Try the mix appetizer. Any curry is good. Crab fried rice is to die for!!! They were generous with the crab meat. Corkage fee for a bottle is 20$.
