Blueprint - Brooklyn

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for happy hour on a Friday night, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a fancy yet relaxed atmosphere. The bartender crafted a delicious Black Manhattan for me, which wasn’t even on the menu, and it was absolutely delightful. I also enjoyed a fantastic hot toddy. This place has quickly become my new favorite bar!

It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood, and finding a place like this in NYC is a rarity. The cocktails are amazing, the service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. I give it a perfect 10/10!

I frequent this place to catch up with friends and to eavesdrop on first dates that start on Tinder. Here are some snippets I've heard: Someone mentioned that Jack Kerouac is a genius—definitely not the best move for a date, as it comes off as pretentious while showcasing a limited understanding of literature. When asked about drink preferences, someone inquired whether the other person favored wine or spirits—my advice? Just wait for her to order; you'll find out soon enough. Oh, and if you lean more towards liberal views, keep in mind that it's Brooklyn, so that's a given. The first-date atmosphere is amusing to observe. Just a heads-up: avoid bringing a vegan here, as they serve a rabbit pot pie!

Blueprint is reliably fantastic. The drinks are always delicious, both their specialized seasonal menu and their classics (best Espresso Martini anywhere! Don't sleep on the food I dream of their wedge salad. Really sweet and friendly servers and bartenders. 10/10, no notes.

This is a perfect first date spot. Low lighting, plenty of space and really good cocktails. Rob the bartender is a superstar. We had a great time.
