I definitely give this restaurant 5 stars! The food was fantastic! I do wish the wings were a bit crispier, but they weren't soggy at all. They have a variety of amazing juices (note that they don't serve alcohol). The owner has a health-focused approach, but I was informed that you can bring your own beverages if you'd like. I’ll definitely return, flask in hand! Haha. View all feedback.
What Brock Stroman doesn't like about Biyou:
Great place for a first date , quiet outing with your significant other or just a few people. This is your place. Cozy and nicely lit. They hit it on the nail with the “ New Orleans theme”. Although it took a while for our food to come when it wasn’t even crowded maybe just 6 other patrons. The food was delicious. Even with the waitress speaking softly she was polite. Definitely I would recommend this establishment. View all feedback.
The decoration had a beautiful new orleans flair. the server was very personal as the owner. the food was very fresh and very tasty the roasted okra was delicious and not fat. we had the snatch and laughs, again very good. dessert beignets! the serve not alcohol, but had a lot of interesting non-alcoholic drinks.
The food is VERY good! Freshly made and absolutely yummy. Our waitress was very attentive without hovering too much. The owner even came to check on us.
After a long day, arriving at Biyou was heaven. The manager Bruce ? , was pleasant and attentive to our needs. We started with fried okra and biscuits served with a honey butter. The okra was fresh and lightly battered with a delicious dipping sauce. Our main entrees were pleasurable: Bourbon Street Chicken served with Potato Gratin, a Spicy Cajun Sauce and Asparagus my friend had the Blackened Catfish Steak served with Creamy Spaghetti Squash, Peppers Onions. Biyou does not serve a alcoholic beverages, the drink selections are blends of fruits and vegetables, teas and botanicals that were refreshing. Would I come back yes!
Food was amazing! Some of the best Shrimp Grits I've ever had in my life and I grew up in New Orleans. Only thing was they don't serve alcohol and it's not BYOB, which is fine but we didn't know beforehand. Definitely go eat here!
The food was terrible grits were extremely over cooked and coagulated shrimp with the grits was over cooked as well the cornbread was dry the jam had way too many seeds and should have been filtered the sauce for the shrimp omelette was bland The service was bad the waitress didn’t check up on us didn’t refill our water took forever to get their attention told them about the shrimp and grits and they took it away but still tried to charge us for it My boyfriend and I had been waiting to go here for a couple months now and we’re excited to try the menu. This was his surprise birthday brunch and he didn’t even get to it. Would not recommend this or return here. I’m very disappointed in the entire experience.
