Baoburg - Brooklyn
Baoburg
Description
Baoburg, a charming hidden gem in Greenpoint, offers a delightful dining experience that spans a range of culinary delights. While some dishes have encountered mixed reviews—like inconsistently salty Khao Soi—many patrons rave about the generous portions and delicious flavors of items like pad Thai and Ramen. The friendly and efficient service adds to its appeal, though outdoor seating may pose a challenge. The vibrant atmosphere, complemented by a lovely back patio and skilled drinks, creates an inviting environment for both casual and special occasions. Overall, Baoburg is highly recommended for its authentic flavors and great value.

The Grandma 's chicken over rice was pretty good. The Vietnamese sandwich with grilled pork was good. However, the spring rolls really really suckedIt was $13 for 6 spring rolls. It was 3 regular sized spring rolls cut into half.... And two were burnt. And they gave one piece of lettuce.
I had the Hanoi noodles and they were OK. Prefer the vermicelli noodles at Di and Di way better and meat is more flavorful there. The people working there were nice but I just felt the dish lacking in composition and flavor. My bf’s pho was good to me. We also got the larb wings and I just felt like the larb flavor was very minimal. Also the crispy wings were okay. They were crispy but I found some of the wing meat to have a weird taste maybe from being frozen or reheated. I cannot be for sure, but not a fan. Finally a Singha is $9 there. Considering it is more of a fast food order at the counter and the food is brought to you kind of place found this a little high.
We loved this place! Sitting in the back was super cute and unexpected. Really nice staff, my boyfriend won't stop asking to go back here!
