Friendly, prompt service for well-priced and delicious pastries. My new favorite spot to treat myself!
The owners of this restaurant don't seem to care whether or not their customers are happy. They simply listen to gossip from the kitchen boss, Aneta, and follow her direction. They also don't seem to pay attention to the well-being of their older kitchen staff, who often feel exhausted and bullied by the kitchen chief.
First of all, the food is decent. Service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. It seems as if every time I go in person, the price is different. Yesterday for example, I paid $30 for my order. I got 4 soups, 3 small containers to take home, and ate one at the place. Pretty sure I was overcharged. A bunch of other times, I have encountered inconsistent pricing. It seems as every time I go and there is a different cashier, the price changes. During holidays, I paid $10 for small container of the vegetable salad. When I asked why is it so expensive, the cashier told me it was because they rarely offer it. I don't know what is going on there, but this doesn't seem like honest business practices. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
