Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of the city, this bagel shop presents a perplexing blend of opinions. While some patrons rave about the delicious, fresh bagels and friendly service, others lament inconsistent quality and unfriendly interactions. Complaints include undercooked bacon, mediocre bagels, and high prices, with a notable critique of staff demeanor. Bagels! Easily some of the best I've ever tasted—maybe even the best. When you walk in, the friendly staff welcomes you, you place your order, enjoy your bagel, and leave satisfied. It’s really that straightforward. View all feedback.
What David Kuperminc dislikes about Bagelsmith:
Rolled through late and I own that, but minimum asks for tuna salad left me with the lthe wrong bagel, zero toasted monument, and a lack of wanting to be alive. Pay your worker no View all feedback.

What happen to this place..The bagels aren't good and for the price they are cheap with the cream cheese, lettuce or anything you pay extra for. Brooklyn bagel or Zuckerberg is so much better... not coming here again...born and raised and it's a disappointment.
The bagels are delicious, the staff is very friendly, and there are plenty of options to choose from. However, I would recommend avoiding the white fish salad as it was terrible. Overall, you will have a great experience if you steer clear of that particular dish.
The prices are too high and the bagels are just average at best. The person at the register always seems angry whenever I visit. Each interaction with them is consistently negative and confrontational. I only began coming here after my favorite bagel shop closed, but I am no longer willing to put up with this. They should clearly display a sign stating that payment is required before ordering. Rather than yelling at customers all day for assuming they can pay upon receiving their food.
This place is an absolute staple. Amazing and fresh bagels with a large selection of choices. I haven't had anything from here that wasn't delicious and satisfying. They are also open 24/7 in true NYC fashion which is worth 5 stars alone.
This was the worst bagel I have ever had! The bagel was dry and did not taste fresh. At 6:30 am, there was loud music playing behind the counter. The customer service was terrible. There was no friendly greeting or thank you, the cashier just stared at us while we ordered. He was a really strange guy. He claimed they had no cinnamon raisin bagels even though there were some in the display case. He also accused me of having an attitude while ringing me up. My coworker and I will not be coming back. Absolutely not!!!

I don’t understand all the complaints I’ve seen. After reading the reviews, I was unsure, but I’m really glad I decided to stop by and give Bagelsmith a try. I ordered the lox spread on a garlic bagel, which was delicious and toasted perfectly. The service was quick too. I was looking for a convenient spot near my barbershop for a fast breakfast, and this definitely fits the bill. Thanks, guys!
