An absolute jewel in the neighborhood for foodies who dig Dim Sum (small plates). A hot spot on 65th street to sip tea, connect with others and enjoy tasty treats. You can pick your dues from one of the steam carts, order dishes from the kitchen or walk to a bar to pick up a plate. I dislike giving negative reviews, and I rarely do, but I genuinely urge you to steer clear of this place. There are two nearby dim sum restaurants that are far superior, and I highly recommend checking them out instead (Park Asia and East Harbor Seafood Palace). My friends and I visited during the mid-autumn weekend because the usual places we frequent had over a two-hour wait. In search of a new spot, we were surprised to find no wait at this restaurant, which should have raised a red flag. Upon being seated, we noticed the establishment was quite run-down. The television displays were advertising neighboring businesses, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, not to mention the poor sanitary rating it had. We ordered the standard dim sum dishes and were greatly disappointed. Many of the usual items seemed to have replaced proteins with substitutes, likely to cut costs. We encountered something that appeared to be fried shrimp, only to find it was actually fruit? Who serves fried fruit with mayo at a dim sum restaurant?! The staff pushing the dim sum carts were aggressive, trying to foist stale, unwanted dishes onto our table, especially after the fried fruit fiasco. One of my friends ordered a coconut dessert pastry and requested a spoon to share. After asking for one, the waiter chuckled and handed us a fork instead, saying, “I think you meant fork”? The service was appalling and honestly a source of amusement. We ordered a large plate of fried seafood noodles to share, but they instead brought us beef chow fun. Not only did they get our order wrong, but the food was incredibly bland as well. I have no intention of returning, and I would advise others to stay away too—especially if you don't fit the typical dim sum customer mold. We were a group of Asian Americans who spoke the language, and we did not receive great treatment. I can only imagine how others might fare, likely being presented with old and subpar dim sum dishes without any warning. Affable eatery? More like laughable.

The food was pretty good. Very good portions. We went for an Lunar New Year school event. The server kept clearing our platters for the next course before we could finish. I was sad when he took away the sweet sour pork.

Went to get dimsum at this restaurant and it went pretty well. The food was good and even though most of the stuff was gone from the cart. They made it fresh when they asked for the amount that my table wanted.

The food was great, the shrimp or beef rolls, the skin was light and fluffy. Actually all the dim sum items were great, we also ordered a wet beef chow fun and those noodles were cooked perfectly, though the sauce could have had a little more seasoning, kind of bland in our table opinion. The service was okay. Some of the waiters just walked around and sort of ignored our attempts to get their attention, and it might be they didn't see, but i don't think so. overall, it is a good place for dim sum, but be prepared to wait if you go during peak time.

Great dim sum; no complaints on anything I got and they kept the tea coming. Was surprised by a new dim sum I tried: steamed blocks of julienned taro, was quite good.Everything was nice, hot, and fresh. Just make sure to come before 11am on a weekend or holiday if you don't want to wait over an hour.

I have been coming for years and it has yet to disappoint. A great place for my kids to discover the beauty and history of chinese cuisine.

Unfortunately, when the dish arrived, it had meat in it. To make matters worse, the same waitress tried to convince me that the meat pieces I was removing were actually vegetarian. Eventually, she had to admit that it was indeed meat, took the plate back, and got the order right the second time. By the time I received my correct dish, everyone else in my party had already finished eating. Overall, my experience was disappointing. When it comes to vegetarian options, it felt like a joke. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else where you won't have to constantly check if your order is correct.

I dined here last Sunday with relatives. We got a private room big enough for 20 people. My father-in-law ordered a variety of dishes that pleased everyone including cooked shrimp with toasted and candied walnuts and broccoli, squid seafood stir fry with snowpeas and nuts, lobster and scallions, steamed bok choy, seafood soup, kung pao chicken with vegetables, roasted chicken, eggplant in garlic sauce and more. My favorites dishes were the shrimp with candied walnuts and broccoli, the kung pao chicken and the eggplant with garlic sauce. Those dishes were very tasty. For dessert, we had Chinese steamed sponge muffins, warm and sweet red bean soup, and cut fruit. They were all also delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. They brought all of the dishes in a timely manner. They even helped us to take pictures. I'm also sharing my feedback regarding the dim sum dishes I've eaten here before. Even though I have dietary restrictions, I'm always able to find dishes that I can eat. The dim sum dishes that I enjoyed were the eggplant stuffed with shrimp, jalepeno stuffed with shrimp, sesame balls stuffed with sweetened black sesame paste, egg tarts and egg yolk custard buns. I enjoyed the Chrysanthemum tea and Jasmine tea.

I've dined here multiple times with family and friends for dim sum and lunch. It's a popular place. The food is good as well. I like that they have a variety of dishes for people with diet restrictions. I don't eat pork, beef or lamb and was still able to enjoy my meal. I ate shumai with shrimp, eggplant stuffed with shrimp, and noodles. My favorite desserts were the sesame ball with sweetened black sesame paste inside and egg tarts.Kid-friendliness: I've seen many families with children of all ages done at this restaurant.

All the dishes were delicious and freshly made. The beef, shrimp, noodles, and vegetable dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The lobster prices were more affordable compared to other places. The staff was very attentive. This will definitely be my new go-to spot on 65th Street!

I arrived quite early at 9:15 am, as the restaurant filled up fast after lunch. Luckily, I found parking easily, as the nearby park offers free parking on Sundays. The place is great for large groups and offers a standard but enjoyable dining experience.

The service was excellent, and the food was quite impressive. The restaurant is spacious and inviting, with convenient street parking available. I noticed there are no longer any rolling carts; instead, you place your order and they bring the food to your table. However, I did find that prices have definitely increased!

It's a decent place. Not bad. But not the best.
