from juli 2021 on Sunday evenings there is a group of musicians who host a jam at izzy and they are great. my friends and I went for a few drinks and it was a good experience overall. they offer vegan empanadas that are actually from guevaras only 2 roads over. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Izzy Rose:
this is a nice vegan bar for cocktails in specific, as well as vegan versions of bar food (tacos y empanadas). they have a beautiful backyard, inside, and at the reception. I would not recommend her natural wine selection. I ordered a glass and it was quite old and no new bottle. View all feedback.
They are all vibes and even higher prices. sometimes you want to pay for ambiente, come here.
I like the restaurant and the other 2 bakeries. every time I get back to izzy rose I'm reminded that they don't care about customers

Cozy vegan cocktail bar! I'm gonna partially agree and partially disagree with the previous reviewer. I do think the cocktails could be better. We had both seasonal drinks and the spiced butter one just didn't work that well, it was also kinda watery. The other seasonal warm drink was tasty though! I don't think the food is as good as Jajaja for vegan Mexican. We had the nachos at Izzy Rose and they weren't well layered, so there was just a ton of stuff and then mostly naked chips (tortilla chips were fantastic tho). Also could have used more fresh things on top. I guess they want you to pay for one of the add ons, maybe would have been better with the tempeh or chimichurri. But I think the dish should be able to stand well on its own. Also the guacamole was miniscule, barely a handful for $9. All in all, it's a nice cozy spot in the neighborhood, so we'll probably be back for happy hour or even during the day for their breakfast menu. But they can definitely improve on a few points.
