The food last night was delicious! I had the Hunter’s Pheasant Casserole, which was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We shared Kuchen for dessert; also delicious! All of the staff that we talked with were very friendly and happy. We will definitely go back!

Traveling home after visiting family in Wyoming, we spent a night in Brookings, S.D., and had a really nice time at The Pheasant Restaurant. We enjoyed a bottle of Malbec along with perfectly prepared grass-fed bison and asparagus, and chicken breast withmushrooms, Swiss and mashed potatoes on the side. And for the final treat: salted caramel cheesecake. Our server, Mady, was asweetheart. We also appreciated the excellent wine service by the bartender, whose name we didn’t catch. All in all, a greatfind miles and miles away from home.
