My only wish is that the greens didn’t include kale. I enjoy kale, but I’d prefer it not be in this dish.

Additionally, the night shift employees... read more The service during the night shift is very disappointing. The staff refuses to prepare fresh food between 6 PM and 8 PM. Additionally, the night shift employees are quite rude and unpleasant. They rarely wash their hands and often use the same gloves for everything, leading to significant cross-contamination at every station, which they seem to consider normal. This has been my experience every time I visit this location.

When I called, they were able to cancel the order, but since there was no manager available, they couldn't issue a refund. They told me they would call back when a manager was available to assist with the refund, but I never received that call. Over the past few months, I've reached out multiple times, but there’s still been no manager available, and none of my calls have been returned. As a result, I ended up paying $33.18 for food I never received, and I haven’t seen any reasonable effort to refund my money. This occurred in January 2022. While I acknowledge that it was partly my mistake for ordering from the wrong restaurant, I believe this situation isn't uncommon and there should be a straightforward process for handling refunds in such cases. I would like to say that I’ll never eat at Panda again, but I know myself too well. Even if Panda were to vandalize my car, steal my identity, or post embarrassing pictures of me online, I’m certain that when I'm late, hungry, and alone, I'll end up going back to Panda. I really love their Kung Pao Chicken; it’s such a frustrating yet tempting relationship.

I ordered my food and didn’t want to bring it into the bathroom with me, so I placed it on one of the high chairs near the restroom. When I returned just two minutes later, my food was GONE, right in front of everyone, including the staff. When I asked some fellow patrons and the workers about it, they all looked sympathetic and simply said, "Oh, that’s not right. I’m sorry that happened to you." Some patrons even remarked on how shameful it was that someone took my food and left rather quickly as I spoke with the staff. The workers appeared confused and merely shrugged in response. Maybe I’m overreacting, and I certainly don’t want to come off like a "Karen," but I was shocked that nobody offered to replace my food or even checked the security cameras, especially since everything was visible the entire time.

Of course, the freshness can vary depending on the time you visit; during off-peak hours, you might not get the absolute best. However, my experience with Mateo was not great. Even with only two people ahead of us, it took about 15 minutes for the three of us to be served. He also seemed less welcoming compared to the usual staff.
