We came early and our waitress was friendly but not attentive... read more We have had wonderful meals here. Not this time. Burger was just okay and salad wasn't that fresh. We came early and our waitress was friendly but not attentive. Our drinks sat at the bar, it took a long time to get her attention and the check took a long time. I'm hoping it was just a bad night.

We had a 12:15 reservation and weren't seated until 12:40. This was Mother's Day. They had one server when we got there and one manager. NOT enough staff! The f... read more We had a 12:15 reservation and weren't seated until 12:40. This was Mother's Day. They had one server when we got there and one manager. NOT enough staff! The food was good, but there was 10 minutes between the first plate served and the last plate served. I got my food before my drink, and my brother-in-law had to go to the bar to get his. Our server was really nice but absolutely swamped. It wasn't his fault. Un-bussed tables were a distraction. Really disappointed.

My daughters Jakes burger was cold and soggy, according to her, and this was normally her favorite. All of my other visits, Jake's Burgers has been top notch.
