Despite a mix of opinions, recent visits to this restaurant showcase significant issues primarily rooted in customer service and wait times. Patrons have reported long delays for food orders, unpleasant interactions with staff, and a disconcerting incident involving a firearm. However, there are positive highlights as well; some diners praise the food's authenticity, particularly the fried shrimp and traditional Haitian dishes, which evoke nostalgic flavors. While the ambiance has seen renovations, the overall dining experience is marred by inconsistency in service. For reliable alternatives, customers might consider other local Haitian eateries that offer superior service and less wait time.

Was Jimmy Vee at Jeano's a mag?
This restaurant has been around for years, and they've recently revamped the interior. The food definitely makes the wait worthwhile. However, the manager could use some improvement in their manners. View all feedback.
What Stephany Vasquez dislikes about Jeano's:
I went to this restaurant was a little SKEPTICAL Becuase of the , but I said let’s give it a try… thinking I was going to get fresh food, mom tasted it and said nope it’s REFRIED View all feedback.
The food is fine and flavorful, and I can 't help but appreciate the work they do in Haiti (they have a picture of the school they sponsor on the front counter), but it 's nowhere good enough to justify the absolutely abysmal customer service. Be prepared to listen to people in the lobby getting increasingly angry as they come to terms with the mistake they made of ordering from this place. My favorite story was when my wife and I, at the beginning of an hour+ road trip back from Rhode Island, jokingly decided that we should call ahead to place our order because we knew the wait times were so horrible. No joke, we still had to wait 45 minutes when we got to the restaurant. That 's nearly 2 hours for these people to make some rice and beans. Another time I was waiting for about an hour in the lobby to get my food and when it finally came both the employee and I forgot that I had to pay, so I left. When I got home and realized this, I called and told the lady who answered that I 'd be by shortly to correct that. She said I 'm waiting and hung up the phone lol. These people are only in business because Brockton is an absolute wasteland for decent food. If there was any competition they would have gone out of business a long time ago.
I've been accustomed to waiting a long time for food at this restaurant after years of dining here, but today was over the line. I placed an online order, which was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. Given my past experiences, I anticipated a delay. My boyfriend arrived an hour later only to find that my food still wasn't prepared. When he requested a refund, the owner instead started arguing with him rather than apologizing or resolving the issue. Things escalated to the point where the owner went out back and returned with a pistol because he didn’t like how the conversation was going. This kind of behavior from a grown man and business owner is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Instead, consider Delicious or Table 22; their Haitian food is equally good, they have better customer service, and the wait time may be the same or shorter. Now, I have to dispute the charge with my bank because we walked out with no food or refund. Shaking my head.

Food is good but service is horrible. A good place to eat but they have no respect for time management. If there's staffing issues please state that after every order made. I was told 35 mins and had to wait over an hour easy for takeout. Please do better
I don’t normally leave reviews but 10/10 would recommend, five stars all around. When I’m in need of 100% authentic Haitian food, (which is often) that brings me back to my childhood, Jeano’s is my #1 option. Very consistent, very well seasoned, very well made, quality food. Have been coming here for a while and will keep going as long as this stays the same. Love y’all fr! I usually order brown rice and beans with the fried red snapper fish. Chefs kiss! Be prepared to wait sometimes. I usuall
