Contribute FeedbackDespite previously enjoying Bertucci's, recent reviews have expressed disappointment. Diners were frustrated at receiving full-sized portions from the lunch menu. Book clubs faced long wait times despite reservations and poor service. Another customer was horrified by the lack of staff and dirty conditions. Food quality also received mixed reviews, with some dishes overly seasoned while others arrived cold. COVID-19 protocols affected service efficiency, with waitstaff forgetting about customers. Recommendations suggested sticking to pizza. While some appreciated efficient service, others found meals lacking. Overall, Bertucci's appears to be facing challenges across different aspects of the dining experience.
The staff at this restaurant is amazing. They are friendly and attentive. My grandson ordered a kids cheese pizza, my wife had a flatbread, and both were delicious. I opted for the chicken Caesar salad, which was tasty but lacked substantial ingredients for a $16 lunch. I felt it was not worth the price. Despite this, I would return to try a different item on the menu.
We have previously enjoyed the food at Bertucci's and had decent service, but our recent experience left us frustrated and disappointed. Despite arriving early for our reservation, we were told we still had to wait with others who had no reservations. Despite over half of the tables being empty, the staff claimed they were busy with large groups. After waiting for 20 minutes and receiving no communication about our wait time, we decided to leave. The manager's response did not show understanding or empathy towards our situation, which was disappointing. We felt sorry for the stressed out wait staff and expressed our understanding to the manager before leaving. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
We arrived for our reservation and waited patiently until the manager rudely approached us. He informed us that there was a long wait and questioned if we thought everyone had a reservation. His disrespectful attitude was uncalled for, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty except for one large table. We will not be returning and the manager should consider finding a different job.
Arrived at the restaurant on time, and waited for a few minutes until the waitress said she could not seat us for about 15 minutes, she was the only one working. Looking around the restaurant I could see other patrons that were seated, were still waiting for the only waitress to take their orders. The bar was covered with dirty dishes as well as other tables. There was a young employee running around saying she was on the morning shift, as we still stood there waiting. Another Woman with blonde hair holding 2 bottles of wine peaked her head over to say that someone would be right with us, then she walked out the door. My daughter attends school in the area, we were there for parents' weekend and that is the restaurant she wanted to eat at. Needles to say I was horrified just standing there and didn't think our experience would get any better, so we left and will never go back. This is not the first time this particular waitress has been the only one working. I know it is hard to get people to work but when a Company. has horrible working conditions, who would want to work there?
I understand it's covid and we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch. They put us in the bar area at a booth, and the waitress COMPLETELY forgot we were there. I finally went looking for her to get the check and see what seated at a booth rolling silverware into napkins, doing sidework and forgot all about us. Granted, it was quiet, since we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food what pretty typical fare, nothing exciting
