Lahi is a charming Filipino restaurant that offers tasty dishes. If you visit, be sure to try the sisig tacos as they make for a must-try appetizer. The tacos are flavorful, consistently crunchy, and topped with a delightful sauce. However, I found the lechon kawali to be less appealing, as it was too tough and hard for my taste. The food is Filipino, but it lacks the authenticity that comes with the use of spices and freshness. I tried the Calamares, and I must say that the version sold by street vendors in the Philippines is much better. The prices are fairly high given the quality of the food. This restaurant brings back memories of my early childhood in Butuan City, rekindling my inner Filipino spirit as I enjoyed dishes from my homeland! The service was surprisingly excellent; it felt like I was being attended to by older siblings! I would rate it 5/5. Kid-friendliness: They treated my child with the utmost respect, making this a place where he could truly be a kid.
It was my first time trying Filipino cuisine, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was full of flavor, and the portions were generous. Overall, I had a great experience.
