We recently visited harties and what a nice place.We came across hidden gem!Such a beautiful and welcoming place.They offer good fresh food all there veggies come from their own garden also their fish and chicken!the ambiance is great!And as a bonus if you don't feel drive home there also is lovely accommodation available.The staff made us feel so at home.you will definitely see us again!Thank Tropicana keep up the g... What User doesn't like about Tropicana Lodge:
We checked in at Friday night, 9 September. There was no reception. Room 7 was dusty. The dogs frightened one and one was not comfortable going out. The was no network until Saturday. When one wanted to go out, we had to wait for more than 30min, without getting assistance. If the area can be improved for an accommodation, it will be one if the good backpackers in the area. Absolutely fantastic! best pizza I've ever tasted! defeats at least 5 large food chains I can think of. beautiful atmosphere, beautiful staff.
Food and service is outstanding Best food in Hartbeespoort area. Value for money will recommend restaurant anytime.

The following reflects our opinion as per review policies: We stayed here for one night. This was the dirtiest place we ever stayed at. Bathroom: mould toothpaste stains from previous guests (incl. old tube). Bedroom: stains and dust everywhere. The place has no reception and we felt lost upon arrival. The restaurant couldn 't serve us food at 7pm since the chef had left already. Loud music till 11pm.
