The first few times the coffee was okay and they do use nice beans however the baristas make the coffees terribly and inconsistent. Such a shame. My 'cappuccino' was the saddest in town and when I tried to get another made it was handed back to me and told that it was a cappuccino. It was flat - no froth and felt cold. Terrible service from the main chick and absolutely gross cappuccinos. Will be avoiding this place for my morning hit from now on. Many more new buzz places popping up around town so not a big deal. 1 star for the service and no stars for the coffee I never drank.

I like going here at least once a week.  The best thing about this place is the ambience.  It's clean, professional and well designed.  It really... read more I like going here at least once a week.  The best thing about this place is the ambience.  It's clean, professional and well designed.  It really makes you feel comfortable.  The service is also consistently friendly and helpful.  I've never had a problem with an of the staff here ever.  The food is also very good and exceptional value.  Their daily specials never disappoint, but the whole menu is basically under $20.  They also know how to get meals out quickly and under the hour which is important to folks who have to get back to work.

I've been a regular here for a... read more Toobirds Espresso & Eats is my regular morning coffee fix so I thought it was about time I gave them a little love on Zomato. I've been a regular here for almost 2 years. I first went to support a friend who works there and haven't stopped returning since....mostly for the house-made dark choc chip donuts! Love the bitter chocolate, great texture, and not too big or greasy. Sugar-coated heaven! In all seriousness though, I really like the variety that Toobirds offers. The cabinet is always full of fresh wraps and paninis, yoghurts, fruit, salads, and sweet treats. Their daily specials are usually good value. If I need breakfast or lunch on the run, Toobirds is my stop. When I first started visiting Toobirds I was a connoisseur of hot chocolates and chai lattes, but have since graduated to my regular mochas. The coffee served here is Allpress Coffee - perfect for me as I love the hint of sweetness and slight spice finish found in Allpress - and the chai blend that they use is one of my favourites. They also make some fabulous juices - the watermelon and mint is my favourite. The staff are well-trained, cheerful and chatty (when it's not busy, of course), however the consistency of this can vary at times. It's counter service for everything at the cafe, but it's quick and efficient. The location is super convenient as it's just around the corner from the office, and the Creek St hill guarantees a quick leg workout.
