My recent experience at Red Rooster, a poorly maintained fast food establishment, was disappointing. Despite requesting to dine in at the counter, I received my food in a to-go bag. When I requested a tray, it was not provided.

After some time I gave this place a go. Slow service and burned oil fumes were just the beginning My meal was half cold and greasy and frankly unpleasant looking. Sorry but I will give this one a miss
On September 22nd at 1pm, I went to this restaurant for lunch and had trouble understanding the cashier. The wait for our food was reasonable, but I noticed that all the air conditioning vents and filters in the store were covered in dust. There were lights hanging loosely from the ceiling with water damage and black mold growing. The men's toilet was out of toilet paper and soap. Additionally, the side door was missing a handle with a sign saying 'Use other door', and the other door seemed to be on its last legs as well. Seeing these issues in the front of the house made me wonder about the cleanliness and maintenance in the back where the food is prepared.
I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience at this restaurant. The gravy-only option was unexpected, as I am used to having potato and gravy at chicken fast food places in New Zealand. The food was hot and flavorful, and I found it to be good value for the price.
