The second I walked into Pallet I was greeted with a massive smile and a warm family environment. Karpin does an absolutely exceptional job at creating a warm and comfortable environment which feels much like home. Karpin's passion for his customer service is apparent through the entire experience. The coffee was exceptional and the Eggs Florentine, cooked to perfection. To see that he has his family with him in his business also serves as proof of how his values have transcended into the environment of his little cafe.  If you're ever around the Fortitude Calley area, I strongly suggest you make your way into Karpin's nook to experience for yourself the definition of TRUE customer service.

Offered me to see wherever i wante... read more Ordered an Eggs Florentine and skinny medium latte. Service: service was good manager took my order and was nice and polite. Offered me to see wherever i wanted. Food: unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down, the Florentine was service on a english muffin that felt like a mcdonalds quality muffin. The hollandaise sauce was quite weird mix like it was diluted and didn't have enough on the plate, it had bubbles in it and felt like it was an beaten egg blend some how and was not the creamy smooth texture i was expecting. The smoked salmon was very dull in colour and was mega salty felt like the lowest quality smoked salmon one could buy. The only positive on the dish was the pouched eggs which were done quite nicely with the right amount of runny. Coffee: by no means am i a good critic on coffee but i thought the coffee was quite nice.

The large glass panels means a lot of natural light comes into the cafe which makes it a nice place to be in the early morning. The interior design is fascinating and there are numerous photos of the legendary Story Bridge. The burgers here are quite delicious as well as the caramel lattes. There is free wifi and power points available for those who want to sit and study all morning. The owner of the store is an incredibly friendly guy who genuinely cares about people. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy my coffee in such a unique environment. I have not only met wonderful people but also learnt so much about the Story Bridge by simply coming to this cafe.
