What Alexa Ullrich likes about Muse Cafe:
Best value and prices in the Arts Centre precinct. We started our day at GOMA but couldn't afford to feed our family of 5 there so we had a look at the Library Café. They were also above our budget. Fearing that we would have to take the kids to Macca's on the way home we made one last ditch effort to get food before getting in the car. Collector's Café had a 15 minute queue but it was worth it. Extremely overpriced for such poor quality. I ordered a salmon sandwich from the display fridge and it took 15 minutes for them to put it on a plate. When I finally got my order, there was barely anything on the bread and the salmon smelt off and all I could taste was the overpowering saltiness. read moreThe Collectors Café at the Queensland Museum may not impress everyone, with some finding the environment noisy and the food lacking in quality. Some customers have reported tepid coffee, overpriced and poor-quality food items, and lackluster service. However, others have found it to offer the best value and prices in the Arts Centre precinct. One family was pleasantly surprised by the affordable gourmet rolls and satisfying coffee offered at the café. Overall, while opinions on the Collectors Café may vary, it seems to be a convenient spot for a quick snack or drink while visiting the museum.
