What John Siong doesn't like about Master Noodle:
For lunch we visited Master Noodle, situated at a corner of a row of shops. Menu was easy to spot and we got a good look at what meals we could order. We decided to get master combination noodle, seafood laksa soup, laksa noodle soup and Thai fried rice. The presentation of all dishes were nice - they looked visually appetising.

Well i love this place... the serving potion is quite big as well. Ive tries different things everytime i come here. Pretty pleased so far... its totally worth the money. Service is quick as well.
I didn't bother looking at reviews for a quick noodle box dinner. I have eaten a few noodle boxes in my time, some better than others, but what could really be that bad... EVERYTHING! Honestly, one of the worst things I have ever put in my mouth. Was binned after one mouthful. I ordered the Seafood Me Goreng. Only 2 prawns, terrible combo of veg, and the sauce, that is where it got really weird! It tasted like slightly spicy, sweet tomato paste. Was like a horrible Asian, Mexican, Italian flavour. Absolutely one of the wrongest things that I hope to never taste again! Other dishes may not be as bad but I would NEVER, EVER go back to find out.

I had the master combination noodle. Tasty at first but after a while it started to taste oily. The dish itself was quite oily. The seafood laksa soup was lightly spiced and needed to have a bit more taste but was otherwise alright. Laksa noodle soup was good and very spicy. On the other hand it was also very oily. The Thai fried rice was nice and flavourful. You can taste the lemon and fish sauce, was well-seasoned.
Being vegetarian I've forgotten what it feels like to have to decide between so many menu items ;).
Tea Master has some annoying limitations, most notably their hours (closed at 8 pm and on Sundays).
