My coeliac hubby and I stumbled across Los Villanos on New Years Day. It was the only place opened. On arrival we asked the obligatory question do you cater for Coeliacs? Etc., etc.! They were very understanding and pointed out all GF options. On...questioning about one of their meals the waiter spoke with the chef and advised it was all good. Hey also made changes to suit swapping a flour tortilla for a corn one. Th... View all feedback.
What Nathen Harris doesn't like about Los Villanos:
We settled on Los Villanos after checking out the neighbourhood. We are quite partial to Mexican as long as it is not to spicy. I had the beef enchilada and D had the chili con carne. His meal was a little on the small side but he enjoyed it. My enchilada was big and plump and not too spicy. I couldn't finish it so D did...problem solved regarding his undersized portion. The seating is quite snug so on busy nights yo... View all feedback.
That was a bit dirty for the adult. the children enjoyed their meal. the service was really good. more pleasant place that was very quiet in the night we were.
We struggled to get a table before we were to the phil collins concert, but the personal was wonderful and kept us updated how we sat in the bar to order a drink. a long time ago we were there. service was fast and eating was delicious and better. as expected. I hope the management appreciates their big employees especially the bar employees (we only saw 2,) who worked in full at a very busy night. would certainly return.
Through a rainstorm it went after a 6-hour drive to brisbane. the margaritas called (may have been stronger) and the fishtacos with the kingfish were destitutable!
Lovers of Mexican food and found this place by chance. the food was good, nice relaxed mood about the place service was good. I'd eat here again.
Second visit here... the nachos were mediocre and the margaritas were watered down and weak. Bar man/manager had a complete chip on his shoulder. When we asked why the margaritas were so weak we were notified that they are a business and they have to...make money. Shame is if they hadn’t been so terrible in customer service we probably would have stayed and ordered way more. Good service and good food/drinks will make way more money than cardboard nachos and lemon water for cocktails. Won’t be back.
