Loved the food! It was amazing and the steamed fish was perfect! The pad Thai and som tum were delicious and yummy. Service was quick and the different tea drinks were so good. Pricier but well worth it. View all feedback.
What Lesana Rozenberg dislikes about Longtime:
Have been looking forward to this dining experience and unfortunately was really disappointed. We tried a number of bar snacks and two of the mains and I just felt it was all pretty flavourless. Maybe we just did not chose well. My friends all love it - and I generally love all Thai cuisine. Must just be one of those things! View all feedback.

Lunch was really good! Service was friendly and warm. Food taste really authentic. I love that they have kids meal. The pork skewers were dry and a little smelly tho. Otherwise everything was good! Lunch deals are a must!
Siam Samraran is a lovely restaurant in the Soda Factory, West End. The place has outdoor seating facing the car park. While the outdoor seating is nice, the flies are pesky. The food is really good and flavourful and the staff are wonderful, very polite and helpful. The hostess is very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. They have Gluten Free main courses however the starters are limited to 2 unfortunately. The staff are aware of Gluten Free dishes and can help you choose. The steamed Baramundi in Ginger was delicious and so was the Pad Thi. The Masamman curry was tasty but lacked the authentic taste. The Gluten Free chicken satay and GF Pork skewer were tasty but slightly over cooked and tough. The GF Pad Thai was one of the better Pad Thais I've had very tasty but skimped on the prawns, there were only 4 big prawns. Probably better to go for chicken so it's evenly spread in the dish. Overall a good meal. I've been twice and will go back again. Good food and ambience and great service!
We first visited on Saturday night and the meals and service were great even though the restaurant was packed. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we returned tonight for an early dinner for two and were again treated to a very nice meal and top service. The food and flavours were so fresh tasting that which makes them most enjoyable. This is definitely a quality Thai Restaurant. I read on the menu that “Samrarn” means “happiness” and you will certainly be happy that you chose this restaurant. Enjoy.
Outstanding service and food to match. We had a party of ten with a VIP, and the service was exceptional. Nothing was a bother and the staff were very attentive to our needs. The food...AMAZING! Some of the best Thai I've had including in Thailand. Everything was delicious and well cooked. I'll be back for sure.

Okay, yeah, that was great. a nice restaurant, service was fantastic. atmosphere and decor was stunning. regarding the raised Asian fusion, this is almost perfect for me. soft dish **** bao was delicious, loved it. oysters, also a big hit. lobster curry sauce was goouod, lobster was also well cooked, fresh and had a good texture. it was very saucy so it would have been great if there were some veg in there, literally only the lobster pieces. I am a huge noodle fan and with an Asian fusion joint with not a single traditional noodle broke my heart a little. we were recommended to see the pad ew on the server and warn the noodles were not common, they were short and fat. I didn't think much of it, but when it arrived, they weren't even noodles! They were like tteokbokki (what I love), but it was a bit funny. the pad see ew sauce was simply overpowering dark soy, really could not taste the brown sugar or oyster sauce that would be traditionally connected to it and frankly, I didn't like it. friend loved the gay. the greens were okay, the sauce was just nothing special. good alcohol selection. cheap, but good.
As far as Asian restaurants in Brisbane go, it's rare to find somewhere that charges a premium price and actually manages to deliver - LONgTIME is one of
So. I'm visiting for a weekend conference. I look up "best Thai in brisbane". It's this. I walk almost half an hour from my city hotel to get there. And it's worth every single step. It's no problem that I'm solo, they give me a fantastic seat at the bar where I see all the amazing food being prepared. Melt in the mouth meats, huge zesty rich flavours. My top picks: the crab bao (wow) and beef cheeks (double wow). The pork neck salad looked great too but I didn't have that one. Oh and the passionfruit marshmallow and sorbet dessert was the perfect light fruity finisher. When home in Melbourne, I love coda and chin chin. This is definitely in that league, if not better, thanks to the super helpful and friendly service - special mention to Bianca for her generous and spot on wine suggestions and the lovely chefs who were happy to indulge my fascination with their craft. Or is it art? Or both? Why don't you decide. Go on! They even take bookings- unheard of at most funkytown places in melbs, dammit.
Great food, consistent quality. Would like a bit more extensive menu. Have been here a few times, favourites are the curries and the mango sushi.
This small hard to find new Thai restaurant in the Valley, Brisbane has to be the best kept secret in Australia. Hard to find and no bookings after 6.30 pm, the wait is well worth it. Although the wines a tad on the expensive side, they are very good and well matched to the food. We (my wife and I)went with two friends and had a selection of sashimi platters, tofu sliders and oyster shots to start with followed by a selection of all four curries on the menu. Without exaggeration, the oyster shots were the best I have ever had. I can't find enough superlatives to describe the food. Each dish was well balanced with innovative flavours that put a whole new spin on Thai food without changing the distinctive taste of the type of food it was meant to be. After these wonderful dishes, we thought there could not be any more until we ordered the deserts. Of course, to be in keeping with the evening, we ordered all three deserts to share. What a revelation. Tastes and combinations that one would not imagine but so good without being over sweet that we were tempted to re order. Only the restraining hand of my wife prevented me from doing just that.
