Feedback
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes with mixed reviews on the pricing. Some diners found the food to be delicious and considered it good value for money, while others felt the prices were too high for the quality of the meals. The staff received positive feedback for being friendly and helpful. The ambience was commended, especially by those who dined in the evening with the large windows providing a pleasant view. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a decent dining experience, with some customers mentioning they would return while others felt there are better options in the area.
Solid bar with standard drinks. Nice and quiet to relax with friends. Dessert I ordered was bread and butter pudding, it was off the charts good!
I came here on the Dimmi 50% off special. The service is actually good, friendly and prompt. But I waited 30-40 minutes for food to arrive, which is too long for a lunchtime in the CBD and the restaurant was only a third full. I actually think it's quite overpriced. Mains are around $30 and the space is fairly basic, no tablecloths and has a cafe feel. I ordered the Cone Bay barramundi. The fish did not have a crisp skin and was a touch over cooked - quality produce though. It was a nice piece of fish. I wouldn't return. Not a nice enough space, food nothing special and too expensive for what it is. Lots of other choices in this area.
The wagyu flank steak and squid were great - both very succulent and full of flavor. Zucchini fries were a let down though - tiny strips of plant in overpowering bread coating, very unbalanced. So I ended up taking the zucchini out and leaving the dough on the side. Service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely recommend this place if you love your meat and don't mind paying a bit extra for the good quality.
After hours of walking, we decided to take a break and grab a snack at this place. The almond croissants were incredibly tempting, so we ordered one along with a large coffee. The croissant was...
