A recent visit to the Toowong Jackpot left a customer feeling extremely disappointed with their cold rice and unprofessional service. The waitress seemed dismissive and even yelled in the kitchen before returning with the order. Despite the affordable prices and range of food options, the lack of customer service left a sour taste in the reviewer's mouth. On a more positive note, other customers praised the quick service and delicious food at this chain of restaurants, highlighting the great Chinese cuisine at very affordable prices. While some changes have been made to the menu and prices, the quality of the food remains consistently good. Overall, the Toowong Jackpot offers a simple dining concept with a board of choices and freshly cooked meals in just a few minutes. It's a great option for uni students looking for a budget-friendly and delicious meal.

Was Anonym at Jackpot Dining a mag?
During our recent visit to Brisbane, we revisited Jackpot, a restaurant we had enjoyed a few years ago. This Father's Day weekend, amidst the Covid restrictions, we had two delicious lunches there. The food was freshly cooked and reasonably priced, comparable to any high-quality Asian restaurant. The portions were generous, and the restaurant had a liquor license but also allowed BYO with a reasonable corkage fee. A... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Jackpot Dining:
I had a fantastic experience with the dishes prepared by the chef's signature at this restaurant. The fried rice I ordered would be rated at about 7-8 out of 10. These dishes never fail to impress me. However, my experience with the roasted duck and pork was disappointing. The honey chicken and salt and pepper calamari were also unsatisfactory, as they were all overcooked and lacked the crispy texture I was expecting... View all feedback.
Very nice staff and clean restaurantHowever, unfortunately our experience here was awful.
My partner and I have been here a couple of times recently, it's definitely our go-to cheap diner.
I've been here a few timesThe serving portions are rather large for the priceI like that it is licensed and BYO (corkage).
The few Asian places in Toowong that does solid roast pork and duck. The prices are cheap, which is great for uni students. Food came out reasonably fast during lunch time, even when it was quite crowded. Would recommend going if you feel like asian food but not bothered driving to Sunnybank.
Quick to order and getting your food ready, Affordable range of price with plenty of food options and lunch specials. Some asian drinks are also available from their drinks fridge. If you are unlucky in finding an off street car park, then try to park at the toowoong shopping village’s undercover carpark and walk up a bit to get there.
