Description

The restaurant received a mix of reviews from customers, with some experiencing issues such as lost bookings, long queues, and poor food quality. However, positive aspects included a spacious and lively atmosphere, reasonable prices, and good drink selection. The staff were described as friendly, and the live music added to the overall experience. Despite some shortcomings, the traditional Irish pub vibe and tasty dishes like Irish Stew and Bangers & Mash made for a pleasant dining experience. However, it is important to note that accessibility may be limited due to a small entrance for wheelchairs. Overall, the restaurant seems to capture the essence of an authentic Irish pub, offering customers a relaxed and welcoming environment to enjoy food, drinks, and live entertainment.

This is a great irish pub. Very authentic irish feel. Drink variety is good. Live music is fun and performers make you feel welcome. Downstairs has a small room feel but space is ample. Service is ok, not much smiling and a little quiet which isnt reflective of irish pub service levels but is reflective of typical brisbane pub service. Havent tried the food yet so cant comment. Been going there for years, no issues.

Stopped by this wee gem on our quick visit to Brissy. Guinness Pie blew my mind! Best meal ive had in Australia. Struggled to finish it but washed it down with a beautiful pint of Kilkenny! Great live music with a very talented young man named Woody on a Tuesday night. Bar and wait staff were cheerful and seemed to be enjoying the tunes, singing along with customers. Great to see such a happy atmosphere! Will definitely be back soon.

I came here for a 21st birthday and we hired out the upstairs dining area. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the busy street. Particularly the steak here was very nice and reasonably priced. The bar area down stairs can be busy and tight at night but on regular occasions a live band is playing. Altogether a great atmosphere!

Can't fault Irish Murphy's, everything that I expect from a Brizzy CBD pub. Easy access off Elizabeth Street, plenty of bar/ table seating options. Dark and cool which is what we felt like on a warmish Saturday arvo. Wide range of beers on tap, usual menu suspects. Chips were good, if they are not a major food group then they ought to be. Be aware the Murphy's on tape is not a dark beer as you might expect. Still good though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–20
