I was pleased to see that they offer low-carb options at this restaurant, which surprisingly still includes a bun! In New Zealand, a low-carb option usually just means lettuce. Although I wished there was more cranberry sauce on my burger, as the menu described it as having "thick cranberry sauce" (bird and Brie), it was still delicious! My boyfriend ordered the crispy bacon cheeseburger with added avocado and he said it was "simply amazing." The fries were larger than expected, so we ended up feeling very full and couldn't finish them all. The service was good and quick. If we were in town longer, we would definitely come back to this restaurant!

The patty was moist, and the salad and bun were fresh. This experience may change my opinion of burgers in the future. Good job!

The bun was overly cooked and crispy, possibly to cover up bread being stale. The chicken didn't seem fresh and tasty. I will give north lakes another go in the future and update this if better. Also for a place that you need to eat with your hands, provide some hand sanitizer or hand washing facilities.
