You choose your own ingredients (vegetables, meat, seafood, noodles) from the refrigerated display units and place them in a large bowl. Once you have made your selection, the bowl is weighed and you can indicate to the server how spicy you want your soup to be (mild, medium, or hot). Your food is cooked in the broth and a buzzer will alert you when it's ready. The cost is $30 per kilogram and I spent $15, which was just the right amount for me. As a Sichuan food enthusiast, I found the broth delicious and enjoyed the ability to customize my meal to my liking (you can even add extra seasonings). However, I was not a fan of the dining area as it was small and crowded, with people constantly bumping into me as they passed by. Additionally, once you start eating the hot soup, it can feel uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the space.
