Enjoyed a lovely meal of mixed entree platter followed by a butter chicken and lamb saagwala. Good sized portions and full flavour. Naan was thin and on the small side but had a good flavour. Having the free BYO is very nice as the bottle shop is just down the road. A recommended spot for a Friday night feed. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Curry Connection:
We use to frequent this place but it must have changed hands, somewhere down the track, as it no longer ofters good standard Indian food. While parts of the meal were fine, the lamb meal I chose was very tough and I found it hard even trying to cut the meat with a knife. And don't order papadams as they tasted stale. View all feedback.

There are lots of food types on offer at this restaurant strip - we found the sauces too sweet and the food lacking any character
Very casual al fresco (mainly) dining experience. Dined with my daughter and the food was all really nice. The breads are very tasty but not the best I've had around Brisbane. Prices are reasonable but it's not what I'd call budget dining. Overall I'd come back, but not go a long way out of my way to do so.
This is a small, but not intimate venue for curry. It certainly fits the more Australian curry experience, so if you are looking for more of a UK style experience, go elsewhere. Half way between a school canteen and a restaurant, the place is BYO and no corkage, so that's a bonus.Fairly average menu with some specials on there. What always baulks me is when I am asked how I would like my dish of choice. When I order a Madras I expect it to me medium hot, I don't expect to be asked whether I want it mild for example. Same for a Korma. It does make me wonder what they do with the food out the back if they can create dishes of desired spiciness a la carte! What food we did have was good and a sensible size, you are not going to stagger out of this place feeling like you are going to explode.Service was OK, but it would have been good if all the dishes had come out at the same time. Also, if you are going to run a BYO establishment, it's a good idea to have the right glassware to hand. Drinking bubbly out of a red wine glass is not good. I'd rather pay a corkage and get the right glassware! All up this was not in any way a bad experience and is probably better than it sounds. I have certain expectations of a curry and this did not meet them in several ways. My colleagues seemed very happy with what they got. So why not see how you go?
