I've tried many Indian places in Brisbane, trying to find a stylish place reminiscent of the wonderful and sadly gone Scheherazade. Ceylon Inn is not that perfect place but its close enough. Breads are good. Curries ok for me. Good variety. Limited alcohol (hint: BYO), tea and coffee choices. Limited deserts. But a very reasonable local curry. Easy parking. Ambience. Recommend.
As soon as we walked in, the staff were so friendly and happy which was nice. They checked up on us throughout the night and made sure we were having a good meal. The curries we ordered were pretty good as well as the pakoras and overall was a nice Indian meal. The decoration of the restoration is so lovely as well and would be an even better atmosphere when the place is busy!
Good Indian here. Service is a bit up and down had trainees before. Some of the tables are a bit awkward to sit around just saying bit of an awkward distance between back rest table. The food is what matters though it is good here. Used to get the lamb kofta pretty much all dishes are safe options. Nothing ground breaking though to warrant a higher rating but I would recommend. Lots of the dishes have this iconic smokey flavour to them that I only seem to notice at this place which is nice
This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! I have been twice now and loved it both times. Definitely worth ordering extra naan bread!
This is where we get out weekly takeout from. Delicious butterchikcen and garlic and cheese naan. We ate in last week and throughly enjoyed the coconut fish dish. The staff are always friendly and the decorations give the place an air of authenticity. If you're looking for consistently delicious Indian on the west side of Brisbane you cannot go past Ceylon Inn.
