We have here for a late morning tee and coffee with the partner at a weekend we have tried the newstead brownie' soft, rich and chocolate with a thick dusting of kakao powder on the top, which makes it precarious to inhale as they take a to park, almond croissant' sees good, buttery casual though a little on the sweeter side, and so cute reasonable prices overall a beautiful small terrace series. the cakes look inviting!
Always wanted to try her mandel croissant who looks so delicious. I have a strong sweet tooth, I just can't live with chocolate or sweet dried fruits for a day. but this croissant to me is sweet above the edge. the baked is good, they can say that they use a good amount of butter. but oh it's just too sweet, I can only feel my sugar blood level shot! I just managed to finish half of it and let the rest frozen. then on the second day I took it out and took another bite (I eats frozen bake, yp, sounds strange that they know how the dinge will become even sweeter when it is cold compared with when it is hot. I'm a sucker for something sweet, that they don't invite disappointed. the braided mandel discs with honey caramel were delicious. they have a great choice of party cake the coffee was also good
We have searched for a place in brisbane to get good freshly made cakes that neither run-of-the-mill nor over the tip (peanut butter-snickers-salted-caramel everything) and that looked like it was the place that load looked great, and that stuff in the closet, the personal was friendly. it will be sourdy, which is great, and we had a few tasty things from the theke that were very nice. we bought some meatcakes, they were not bad, the baked was good, but they were under the season. but most disappointing was the chocolate sour cream cake. it looked and sounded fantastic, but unfortunately the mixture was awfully reworked, the texture of the...read more
$18 later with a quiche lorraine full of soggy onions and a small chocolate cake that my young daughters could of made I'm sorry I was not impressed. I wanted to be but service was distracted and nothing in the display really caught my eye. I bought the quiche as I was starving but would rather go spend less for my favourite at Swiss Deli.
