We... read more Lovely cafe just up the road slightly from work. I have walked past this place so many times - it always look pretty busy - and now I have finally tried it! Went up with a friend and had already checked out the menu before we went. Walking up to the entrance, it's like your classic local cafe - comfortable seating outside and few tables inside for people like me who loathe the heat. It is counter service here - no issues with that but some of the staff need to smile a little more. Love the cute chalk boards throughout the cafe and the simple pieces of decor - a very good example of where less is more. My friend ordered the beef burger and I ordered the Haloumi stack on sourdough with mushrooms, red onion and tomato. It was like a bruschetta with haloumi. At first glance, presentation is simple and cute. Love how the haloumi is fanned slightly on one side with the mushrooms, tomatoes and red onion peaking out from underneath. It wasn't mind blowing but tasted nice. I'm not a big fan of red onion but I love how it didn't overpower the dish. The tomatoes provided the right amount of acidiity with the mushrooms being the savoury vessel to tie it all together. The portion wasn't very big but I left feeling comfortable. I will definitely dine here again - they have a nice selection of items to choose from both on the menu and in the cabinet. Well priced, great location and quick service.

The staff are always extr... read more If you're looking for "your local", then Cafe Pronto is the way to go. I'm entering my 7th month of attending this cafe every morning. The staff are always extremely friendly, and the coffee is fantastic. This cafe is open for Breakfast and Lunch and always attracts a crowd.

There’s a deal that says there’s a morning special bruschetta for the price of 19.90, they asked me which coffee I wanted (the special comes with a medium coffee and I thought that was what I was getting) so I asked for a flat white and they gave me a small one. It’s not a big issue but perhaps it’s better if when you ask for the morning special you can’t tweak it as a customer to avoid confusion. Overall, it was good, I’d come back. I was nice but the staff seemed to be a bit on edge, maybe it was only this time. Thank you! Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
