Awesome little outdoor area and a lot of screens to watch sports on. Pork belly bites were great, substantial pork meat which I loved. Gravy with the steak was on point and the chicken wings had a perfect heat to them. Nice work chef.

The bar staff were friendly and happy to suggest drinks, especially for rum enthusiasts. The variety of rums available was impressive, and I recommend trying the Rumbellion cocktail. We ordered the "Smoked BBQ Sharing Platter for 2" and it was decent, I would rate it a 7/10. The brisket was tasty and tender, the slaw was delicious, and the mini brioche buns had a nice char. However, the chips were lukewarm, there wasn't much meat on the pork ribs, and the "house made BBQ sauce" tasted too much like soy sauce. Despite these drawbacks, it was still a great dining experience and not bad for a hotel restaurant.

From Adam, to Kieran, Beth, Charlotte (Lottie), and even an early appearance from David, the night went off without a hitch. AVco should support this venue and recognize its potential. While the drinks may be a bit expensive, the quality of service justifies it. This venue stands out from the rest because their Duty Managers are constantly present and attentive.
