The food is more on the average side, but to be honest it's pretty fantastic for cafe dining in my opinion, definitely better than anything you'll get at your average coffee club. The service here is absolutely wonderful, a young lady served me and was so so lovely to chat with, and she was an excellent barista too! The atmosphere here is amazing, especially if you are into alternative or indie dining- the walls are covered in wonderful local art and the music is always awesome. I will always go to Bean when I'm in the city!

I ordered a hot tea which came quickly but the steak took a very long time to come which was quite frustrating. Also, just a heads up that your phone may not receive service inside this cafe.

Grabbed a takeaway coffee. They didn't seem to be serving breakfast. Down an alleyway and downstairs giving it a really cool, 'hidden bar' vibe - dark, cool interiors. Very 'Melbourne hipster'. Really comfy and cosy - would be a cool place to hang out. Barista was really happy and friendly and knew all the regulars coming through. Coffee was good - probably equal best for my Brisbane trip. They have an extensive coffee and drinks menu. Service was quick.
