We are regulars and have been for years. Absolutely delicious, high quality food. The seafood pie is outstanding.
This is a small restaurant in the suburbs of St Lucia - plan ahead as it is always booked out due to the beautiful food
We were lucky enough to get in last minute on a Saturday night and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Yes, it's noisy but the food is amazing and is well worth it! The service was quick as well, despite the restaurant being completely full. Parking is easy and there is a bottle-shop just nearby as the restaurant is BYO. This is a really great suburban restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean food - we will definitely be back!
I have been going to Amphoras since it opened and am always impressed by the quality of food which pays homage to the restaurant's Greek owners heritage but with a modern twist. The menu includes a wonderful platter for a starter which we choose every time. There is a specials board with vegetarian and meat options as well as a tight but considered entree and main menu which changes with the seasons. On this occasion we devoured a large platter, souvlaki, crusted barramundi and a deconstructed seafood pie (which I am told was devine). I couldn't go without ordering Peter's galaktoboureko (creamy custard and nutty filo pastry). Delicious!! The place does get noisy and it is hard to hear your table's conversations at times, but this is the same in so many restaurants these days. There are outside tables if you prefer. Plenty of street parking and the restaurant is wheel chair accessible.
