Was Anonym at Dumpling Wise a mag?
I make a lot of my own dumplings for the family, and try dumplings at every chance I get, to compare them to each other and of course my own, of them all thus far, these ones are up there with the best of them. The three I have tried (Beef/Pork and Prawn and Pork and Chive) are full of flavour with a generous amount of meat to pastry ratio, and at $10 for ten, not sure you could go wrong. I will say though the staff... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Dumpling Wise:
Compared to other options in Watergardens, Dumpling Wise offers a comfortable and clean place to enjoy a more interesting lunch. Compared to other dumpling restraunts in greater Melbourne however, the food is on the low end of average. View all feedback.

I went for lunch and it was a quiet day with lots of empty tables. I ordered dumplings and pork buns. It took a few minutes for the first plate to arrive, but after waiting for a while, the second plate of dumplings never came. I ended up leaving after receiving a refund. The food was okay, but the service definitely needs improvement.
I have dined at Dumpling Wise twice. The food is decent, with some items made fresh in-house while others are frozen types found in Asian grocery stores. I highly recommend the chive pancake, which has delicious flaky pastry and vibrant, zesty herbs. It is very addictive! However, the steamed dumplings were not as successful; the pastry was too thick and chewy, though the filling was okay. The fried dumplings and dumplings in chili oil were better. The service is abrupt and not very welcoming, and the dining area is quite large and uninviting. On the bright side, the dishes are reasonably priced. However, there are better and cheaper options available in nearby areas like St Albans, Deer Park, Footscray, and Sunshine.

I will say though the staff could benefit from some some customer service training and smile a bit, but after all I am there for the dumplings and not a shopping experience. And it's great to be able to get some tips by watching them being made in the lovely little viewing area as well.
Dumpling fried are very nice, the taste as being in China. Lost of other choices. We need more of that in the West
Love this place. Our go to Asian fix. Better to come with cash if you don’t want to incur the credit card surcharge. The dumplings are handmade and you can watch as they make it through the glass panel. No bad dish here. We have...tried of the menu and everything was good. Great fried rice noodles and meat dishes.
