Our Melbourne friends dragged us to this cozy resto in St Albans. To cut the chase, the oyster and green papaya salad was a superb entree choice. The charcoal BBQ right in front of your nose just tickled our appetite even more. I find the pork exciting but the beef was not a good experience with those annoying cartilage. What Anonym dislikes about Phi Phi 2:
the first time in this restaurant at the arrival seemed great. but after we only asked for 10 minutes floor manager very abruptly and rudely whether we could order as we had to be out 730pm, which it was only 6pm. eating was ok staff, where very friendly and helpful beside the floor manager. The service was terrible. The staff couldn't communicate effectively. We were only given 6 small pieces of diced chicken for $13. Despite asking multiple times, we still couldn't figure out how the Korean BBQ service worked. Some waiters said we would get plenty of chicken included in the price, while others claimed we would need to pay $13 for each additional plate of 6 pieces of chicken. As a result, my partner left the restaurant hungry. Overall, it was not worth the money.
This restaurant offers a unique experience similar to Korean BBQ. The staff is attentive and the food is well-prepared. We tried a BBQ platter that feeds 3-4 people, which included wagyu steak, prawns, pork belly, and steak strips. It came with salad and raw vegetables to roast. While the overall experience was enjoyable, we felt that something was missing and it may not become a regular spot for us. We recommend trying it out for the experience, but suggest Phi Phi 1 across the road as an alternative option. We dine there a few times a month and enjoy it.
Can’t believe we came to eat bbq but they offered to do it in their kitchen, like what we can do this at home, very crowded restaurant with no room to breathe considering the amounts of smoke inside. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
The seafood at this restaurant is fantastic. The oysters with butter are absolutely outstanding.
Place was just mediocre. Food was expensive and the meat was full of fat; so oily and horrible to eat. Don’t think I’ll start on the quality of the meat. To top it all, restaurant wasn’t that busy and the staff seemed like they hated their life and not one of them smiled lol. Wouldn’t go here ever again Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The place is amazing and the food and staff were amazing too Andy our waiter went above and beyond for me and my wife to help us with our meal selection highly recommended will defiantly be back
Wonderful food. Twice cooked ribs were delicious. Had a hot pot for first time. Too much food! Highly recommend
Great food and service, it was my first time at Korean barbecue, so I asked literally 30 questions, which they were very happy to answer. Great atmosphere, and very accommodating knife and forks.. lol) cocktails were great. Will definitely be going there again and would highly recommend this restaurant to all .
Phi Phi 2 is Quickly becoming our regular go to place with its friendly staff and more importantly delicious food!

We came with a large group of 23 . eating was amazing and a great presentation of eating . the atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing. the staff was very friendly and didn't have to wait long for a staff member to help...and a great service. we all had a great time and I strongly recommend to come here, even if they don't like Asian food, as there is a lot of options and they will find something they like.
We have booked an dinner for 14 people. wait for the rest of the group to come. the restaurant is empty, as we are the first group to arrive. the manager came in and told us we need to move table as they had booked a larger group to sit on the table, we sit for 20 minutes. we have said that she is the manager of the restaurant and we need to have two separate tables. we eat with 6 children and want to sit together so that we stood at the end when we try to share eating from one table to another, as they bbq on a table and suppe on the opposite table. worse dinner ever! ends up total bill $350 for passing bbq/soup to the next table, instead of comfortable family dinner.
I and my friend were there on Valentine's Day for lunch expected for a Korean bbq, but too bad that all bbq was available for dinner only. the restaurant ambiente was beautiful, modern and trendy. all foods were amazingly good, so delicious. can not wait. to try again, she bbq next time. good service and affordable price
We came here to this restaurant without a booking one Saturday night. The wait time was only about ten minutes to get a table. Staff and deco were great because some Korean BBQ can be smoky and hot Food was very tasty but the ribs...were a bit dry Overall depending on what you order it can be a bit expensive, staff great, good atmosphere. One bad thing was we didn't feel we couldn't control the cooking on the grill. But we didn't ask them either
Visited from Adelaide and was recommended by family. We had an absolute feast and was served by such an amazing guy called Cole he was super friendly and informative!! Loved this place.
