during this fantastic renovation of the iconic belvedere hotels we have eaten at lunchtime. his huge and open plan with bright white and marine striped sunshades. there are so many places to sit and eat or just catch with friends for a drink. The...team is very friendly and happy to chat through their menus and weep and cocktails. the view of the bay is excellent and it is worth watching the sunset. View all feedback.
What Adriana Alfonso doesn't like about The Belvedere:
I thought we were sharing a nibble while we cloged our drinks and watched the fiery red sunset. the 1 kg crispy chicken wings were a overcooked, precooked, dry offer, nothing like our juicy expectations. self service station hotboxes rare get this one wrong. beautiful view and...service View all feedback.
I came here many a time for the great sunset views overlooking the woody point waters! The grilled barramundi is to die for! It's a place for
Food was amazing but the staff failed to inform any customers about the long wait period.
Had a lovely lunch with a friend at the Belvedere and got to enjoy the water views in the warmth but under cover of a big umbrella! Service was good,
I picked here because it's sort of halfway between where we live and where my son and his family live... I know it get busy for lunch and dinner on the weekends and since we are all up early breakfast was a perfect fit... Meals were all good... Milkshakes were cold and had ice cream in them... My only complaint was the coffees were just warm... 4 adults and 2 children for food and drinks was just over $100.00...
Fantastic venue. Beautiful Views, fantastic seating, and even a dog area. DJ on a sunday playing cool music. What more could you want from a sea front restaurant / bar?Decent service would be a start, followed by clean tables, polite staff and decent food.I have been twice now. The first time the bar man was cocky and rude, he even sent texts whilst taking my order (incorrectly) and was completely disinterested. The tables were filthy and I couldn't find one table, that had been cleared and wiped.I ordered a steak - it's pretty difficult to get a bad steak in Australia, especially a rib. However these guys managed to provide one of the worst steaks I have ever tried to eat. I ordered a rare cooked steak. I got a slab of dry leather like gristle, that had possibly died of natural causes. It's such a shame that such a fantastic venue, is staffed by obnoxious, bored staff, and that the food is so lack lustre. But I guess when you have no competition, and such a great location, you can get away with doing what you want.
