Ich war eher durch zufall im medoo - und seit dem ich ich angefixt.ich hatte den salat mit gebackenem ziegenkäse. der hammer. hat alles gepasst. größe, frische,... read more Ich war eher durch zufall im medoo - und seit dem ich ich angefixt.ich hatte den salat mit gebackenem ziegenkäse. der hammer. hat alles gepasst. größe, frische, alles super. am besten vorher im restaurant reservieren - wir mussten um acht wieder los, weil unser tisch dann gebraucht wurde. völlig begeistert war ich vor allem vom selbstgebackenen brot. absolut zu empfehlen, auch was das preis-leistungs-verhältnis angeht.

Das... read more Das Essen und der Service waren gut! Wir hatten einen Tisch für Zwei reserviert, leider stehen diese allerdings so eng, dass wir keine Privatsphäre hatten. Das empfanden wir als etwas unangenehm. Das Pärchen neben uns, das offensichtlich auf ihrem erste Date war, übrigens auch. Wir hatten dann quasi ein Doppel-Date, da man die Gespräche einfach nicht nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Das hatten wir uns leider anders vorgestellt und das Pärchen neben uns, wie sie uns dann mitteilten, auch.Soviel dazu, das Essen war allerdings sehr lecker und der Sevice, obwohl der Laden komplett ausgebucht war, äußerst aufmerksam.Für ein gutes Essen mit Freunden ist das Medoo mit Sicherheit eine super Location, für ein Pärchen m.E. eher nicht so.Gut zu wissen ist übrigens noch, dass man nicht mit Karte zahlen kann.

Unfortunately, I don't... read more Unfortunately, I can't confirm the impressions of my predecessors. I've known Medoo for years, even back when it was still called Medoc. Unfortunately, I don't know what has happened in the last two years. Has the chef changed? The owner? The atmosphere is really cozy as usual, but the food gets worse every time. The last time we had lasagna, it was cold and then reheated in the microwave so we had a warm meal. It was served with spaetzle that was old and dry, swimming in fat and covered in cheese. Four months ago, we at least had the same spaetzle with sauce and bacon, but this has now unfortunately completely disappeared. The previous times we tried to go back to Medoo were also disappointing. The food, which was usually so lovingly cooked and fresh, was now dry and reheated and the quality had declined considerably. What a shame, because Medoo used to be really good.
