But the most outrag... read more The atmosphere is reminiscent of a run-down restaurant that has seen better days. The restrooms were a complete disaster. The food was good. But the most outrageous thing was that we were there with a toddler, and the child's meal was charged at full price. Completely unfamily-friendly. We will not be coming back.

However, the higher prices didn't quite match the rest of the restaurant: two of the open red wines on the menu were unavailable. The atmosphere wasn't particularly chic. The restroom was like something you'd find in a decent fast-food joint – a plastic bucket under the sink where wastewater was dripping into it. The service was okay, but nothing more.

Our host was incredibly... read more Incredibly friendly service, excellent food, a wonderful evening. It was my first time at Küche 13, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had a lovely evening. They offered additional dishes off the menu, and then a complimentary amuse-bouche arrived—an incredibly delicious soup that left us wanting more. The three courses were prepared with care using excellent ingredients and presented without excessive embellishment. The dessert (chocolate mousse with apple sorbet and caramelized olives) was amazing and a perfect ending to the evening. The ambiance could use a slight upgrade; more comfortable seating would perhaps enhance the experience, but the excellent food and service were, quite rightly, the main focus. All in all: A successful and well-rounded evening with outstanding food and service. I will gladly return.
