Visit on Boxing Day... All three of us... The food was lukewarm. According to the menu, the fallow deer dish should have cost €28.90. When we ordered, we were told it would now cost €34.90... which was absolutely unjustified. I complained immediately... and again after trying to eat it. The meat was dry and tough... There was hardly any sauce, and the extra sauce we ordered was also lukewarm. No one from the kitchen bothered to come to our table to sort this out. The full price was charged on the bill. Conclusion... Not really recommended... No way to treat guests...
The food was delicious once again. A very friendly young waiter served us and looked after us throughout the evening. The view of the Weser River and the sunset made the whole experience perfect. We'd love to come back.
Since I only wanted a cup of tea, I went in and was greeted by a young, friendly waitress. He was incredibly warm and accommodating, making it a real pleasure to be welcomed. The tea is organic, which I consider essential, given all the toxic stuff being sprayed around. I only glanced at the menu; as a vegan, there wasn 't much there for me, but it wasn 't what I was looking for today. Just a recommendation: add some pasta with agile olio or tomato sauce, or some fries, and you 'll give everyone the chance to feel completely at home. Keep it up.
The food was delicious. However, many of the desserts contained alcohol, even though it wasn't listed on the label. I ordered a red berry compote and received a dessert with red wine. When I asked about it, the waitress simply said that red berry compote always contains red wine (which isn't true). Not recommended for families with children or recovering alcoholics.
