Made a reservation four months ago and we were the only reservation seated on a âheatedâ patio. The patio was actually degrees (feels like on our temperature app. Empty tables that we were told were reserved for others. Not sure why we were treated the way we were. Will never return. Great restaurant... food is excellent. They did a good job with COVID requirements. Service was very good. An iconic local place reservations are a must!
We have dined at Modis a few times while on vacation and it was fantastic! Best food in Breckenridge and the cocktails and wine selection are great!

This place could be great but will probably never be; and it isn't just the pandemic. It is definitely best enjoyed in the summer where you can sit outdoors. Food was tasty but service always seems to be off (have been a few times) and this time we waited 20 minutes for cocktails and wine which are over price in my opinion. If you pay up for downtown Breck you want to feel taken care of and we just didn't. Post script gave it another try in the winter and it was awful. Cold inside (literally granite top tables) and most of the patrons were discourteous and the staff could barely keep up with a half filled restaurant. I wish I had better to say as I really enjoy the ski town feeling.
