I am lost for works to explain how amazing Van Bone is. We had booked a couple of months in advance and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the welcoming and genuine service to the fantastic flavours and cocktails. I am so thankful we were lucky enough to experience Van Bone and I hope to visit again one day in the future. An absolutely amazing culinary experience EVER! Four hours of small morsels of local produce weaved into masterpieces of delight, served by the friendly warm Laura and cooked by the extremely talented Timothy. The all Tasmanian wine list added to the incredible meal. Not to forget the sublime views and the attention to detail in everything , including the use of gorgeous antique family cutlery. We loved every minute! If you can get there, just get there!

A stunning restaurant reflective of its setting. The best produce Tasmania has to offer, much of it from the restaurant’s own garden, which you will have the pleasure of walking round before dessert. Humble, personable service and beautifully prepared food. Duck is a favourite meat of mine and such dishes are in abundance now, but this was top three. Food: 5
