Dodges Hotel & Bistro - DODGES FERRY

We sat down to have a drink to celebrate my birthday and to decide what 9 of us were going to have for dinner 3 double seafood platters,steak, parmy and roast lamb were faultless and plenty of it.We,d been there for an hour and half .A friend went to get more drinks for us and comes back ,says the bars close.So i asked to speak to the manager,it was 8.45.I was duly informed that they couldn,t afford the staff to run the bar with only us in it!There was nine of us but they didn,t think we were drinking enough.I thought it was supposed to be the other way around?

We where starving so decided on this place , staff where great and service was very prompt, we ordered the roast of the day , serving was on the large side of things ,tasted awesome and was well priced , would recommend

Fish and chips were excellent and well priced, and service was quick. A popular hotel with the locals and staff were well informed about the area with suggestions of places to visit.

Came here for lunch with friends, we stayed long past our meal and the staff were friendly. The meals were average and we had to wait a bit even though there wasn't many customers.

First visit to this hotel for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. Good service, fast meals and a chicken burger to die for.. hopefully have the opportunity to visit again..
