The reviews for The Hat all praise the restaurant's fantastic roast beef and pastrami sandwiches, with the bread being a standout feature. The chili cheese fries are massive but some suggest skipping them in favor of the sandwiches. The pastrami sandwich is a highlight for many, with plenty of meat and flavorful chili fries. The pastrami dip sandwich and chili cheese fries are highly recommended and praised for their generous portions. Overall, The Hat provides classic diner vibes with excellent service and a menu full of delicious options.

You can't go wrong with chili cheese fries, and you can even add pastrami on top! Personally, I found the pastrami a bit too salty, but my brother loved it. The restaurant has plenty of parking available, and while they do have a drive-thru, I think going inside is much faster.

The food and everything else was fantastic, but there were ants all over the backs of the restaurant's seats.

What a pleasant surprise! The pastrami was excellent, and the potato salad was fantastic. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I’m not giving it a full 5 stars for the food because, although the bread was fresh, it was quite soft, which caused the sandwich to get squished while holding it. It’s a charming mid-century spot, reminiscent of the 60s, with intact woodwork that makes it worth dining in to enjoy the atmosphere. I was also pleasantly surprised by the drive-thru!

I love...love....love....the pastrami sandwich and chili fries. I have no words to describe because I am too busy salivating for it...even now. Great food, great people....and I strongly recommend. I wonder if they can pour some cheese in my sandwichlolz.

As always, best pastrami sandwiches in the area! Been going to this location since they opened (especially if I'm nearby and have a craving for some Pastrami). Pastrami meat overflows over the sandwich. Great fries (although their small order seems tobe less than yesteryears). I always ask for yellow peppers and some ranch packets on the side. Still excellent service and kudosto the staff! I gotta get a Hat t-shirt next time! Cheers!
