Lights were dim, needed a torch to read the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our starters, they were the most delicious part of the meal. The chicken chow mein was said to be served with vegetables, but they were very few. The chicken was very tender and there was plenty. It wasn't overly flavoured. The dessert was not worth the price. It was small and the flavour of the ice cream was disappointing. There was a bit of salt on top of some chocolate, and I could not find any caramel. The atmosphere was nice, they had a bubbly fake aquarium. The noise echoed quite a bit, though, making conversations hard to follow at times. Over all, Ling's is a decent restaurant, but I would not count it among the best Chinese restaurants.
