Daata Bray restaurant in Bray has a nice ambiance with friendly staff. Customers looking for vegan options may find the menu confusing at first, but the staff is helpful in identifying truly vegan dishes. Some find the spiciness levels in certain dishes to be underwhelming. While takeaway orders have sometimes had missing items, the overall dining experience is highly praised with excellent food and service. The new, larger location is well-received, although seating can be tight. Diners enjoy the tandoori chicken, biryani, and pistachio cheesecake. Pakistani/ Saudi here . Visited Daata today for the first time after relocating from Dubai and honestly i was very impressed by EVERYTHING! It is the best restaurant I have been to in Ireland. We had the Biriyani and Balochi chicken with chai. Obviously it was 11/10! The vibes, the music, especially the staff were so nice WOW WOW WOW
Had our Office Christmas party there and will definitely be back with my family to enjoy another wonderful meal.

Daata is a warm, clean, and genuinely lovely space to spend time in. The food is authentic and full of flavour, clearly made with care, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtful. If you cant handle spicy, the kitchen will accommodate. The only small downside is portion size. They’re on the smaller side, and for the price, I expected a more standard serving. That said, the quality is there, and it’s still a place I’d happily return to. What really stands out is the staff. They’re accommodating, kind, and welcoming in a way that feels natural, not forced. Overall, Daata is a gem in Bray, well worth visiting.
