I had to step i... read more To start, the young woman at the counter misheard my order not once, but twice. Instead of seeking clarification, she proceeded to heat my food. I had to step in and repeat my order, which is never enjoyable when staff are not attentive. To make matters worse, her demeanor changed, making it seem like I was at fault for simply wanting what I ordered. When I asked about the freshness of the cookies, the confusion continued. The employee seemed unaware of what "freshly baked" even meant. She had to consult a coworker, who was equally unhelpful and responded with unnecessary rudeness, asserting that they were indeed fresh. It's unclear how customers are supposed to know without having to ask. Furthermore, especially with COVID-19 making a resurgence, I was alarmed to see that neither employee changed their gloves throughout the entire process. This basic safety measure was completely overlooked during my visit. Lastly, the pretzels on display looked extremely stale and unappealing, prompting me to ask about their freshness as well. Overall, my experience at this Subway was frustrating and disappointing. It’s crucial for businesses to ensure clear communication, uphold product quality, and adhere to health and safety protocols, especially in these times. I hope they take this feedback into account and make necessary improvements in the future.
