We found Roots through HappyCow. Great little vegetarian place with vegan options. We had breakfast sandwiches 1x vegan 1x vegetarian which we really enjoyed. Plus we picked up a raspberry and almond slice and sweets. The gent who made and served our sandwiches was friendly and made suggestions. Thank you for a lovely brunch. I hope your business thrives! Small selection but all vegan or can be veganised. Had chill wrap much was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly Open on a Monday lunchtime (previous review said confusion over hours)
Last week we went at 6:30 pm on Friday. It was closed. Tried 'phoning the following day but no reply so walked round again at 4pm on Saturday. Closed again. Asked at their branch in Barnstaple who said they thought it closed at 3.30pm. Said that the Happycow listing said 7:30. Shame, as we wanted takeaways for dinner. Hey ho.
Fabulous little cafe serving a range of vegetarian and vegan food. Homemade and cooked to order. Drinks were gorgeous. Service was top class. Would highly recommend
I got the mexcian burrito and it tasted healthy and lovely, so did the raspberry smoothie. Only complaint was that the food was served cold but it still tasted amazing.
