I went here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning around 7 and it was fairly busy, which is a sign of how popular the restaurant is.
One word describes this place. DISGUSTING!_Imagine being served RAW deep fried liver. Puke._Never again. It used to be a good place, but no more.
We chose to go to Mum's because of the great reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. Perhaps I was just disappointed because I expected it to be so much more, but likely I was disappointed because the atmosphere was meh and the food didn't live up to its hype. We went on a holiday so maybe the regular cook wasn't it, and if I gave it another chance it may have been better. Unfortunately, we won't be giving it another change as it was just too basic. I'd rather make breakfast at home.Thanks for keeping our coffee cups full. I wish that could have made up for the overcooked perogies and soggy hashbrowns.
On weekly trips to Brandon, we are sure to include a visit to Mum's whenever possible. I always have the same thing (for several years now) because I love it and it always meets my expectations. The Philly Beef Wrap (hold the wrap, please) is tasty, spicy and satisfying and the homemade fries are the best! Service is friendly and efficient and there is a CAA member discount available.
